More Fundraising!!

We are incredibly grateful for the Lord’s blessings—so far, we’ve raised 60% of Madison’s total trip! With just two weeks left before we leave for Guatemala, we’re in crunch time. Our final fundraising push to cover the remaining $875 is a YARD SALE! Yes, you read that right—we’re having a yard sale in the middle of winter!

The sale is set for March 1, and I’m hoping the spring-like name of the month will encourage people to come out and shop. As I write this, the temperature outside is a brisk 15 degrees (yikes!), but my weather app tells me things will warm up in the coming days. I hope a day in the low to mid-50s will bring people out of their homes and into our sale!

As we prepare for this big fundraising event, Madison and I are also preparing our hearts for what God has in store. This week, she’s working on her testimony—please pray that God will give her the words to say to express who she is as one of His children and that her words impact those who hear it.  I know He is going to do amazing things in and through her, and I cannot wait to witness it!
